The biblical interpretations of events are worthy of acceptance by faith.11 Historical narratives provide far more than just the recounting of historical facts. Rather, as Greidanus notes, every historical narrative has a spiritual focus and dimension. Maier concurs, “God made the creation. God is the ultimate ground of
